Soft Corals
Soft corals — zoanthids, mushrooms, leathers, GSP, xenia — are the beginner's way into reefkeeping: low-to-moderate light and flow, and no demand on your calcium or alkalinity. The one thing to plan for is spread; the weedy ones will take over the rock if you let them.
