Shrimp
Ornamental shrimp are peaceful, useful and genuinely charming — cleaner shrimp pick parasites, peppermints hunt Aiptasia. Like all inverts they have no tolerance for copper and must be drip-acclimated slowly, and a shed exoskeleton is a moult, not a death.
